The Lord will hold you in His hand for all to see
a splendid crown in the hand of God
Never again will you be called
"Forsaken" or "Desolate"
Your new name will be "God's Delight"
and "The Bride of God"
for the Lord delights in you
and will claim you as His bride
God will rejoice over you
as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride.
Isaiah 62:3-4, 5b
I printed out the text. Then I stamped 6 of the large flowers from the Vintage Vogue stamp set with the Versamark ink and applied the embossing powder and melted the powder. Then I sponged them with the Crumb Cake ink. I stamped 4 of the small flowers with the Crumb Cake, but to lighten them, I stamped on scrap paper and then onto the placemat. Then I stamped the decorative element with Cherry Cobbler.
They look complex, but they really are not. In fact, I was able to do 10 of them within about an hour and a half.
I also took them to a local business and had them each laminated so they can be easily cleaned off and perhaps framed and hung on the wall later. :-)
